BURRATA WITH GRILLED BREAD AND HEIRLOOM TOMATOES πŸ…

Last night my husband and I celebrated five years of marriage! We didn’t have a sitter, so decided to stay in and grille when the kids went to bed. We made steaks and this side dish, which was delicious. It’s simple and perfect for summer nights when you just want to put together something quick.

Here’s what you need:

β€’ I used 5 medium sized heirloom tomatoes

β€’ 1 ball of burrata cheese

β€’ 1 baguette thinly sliced

β€’ 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil

β€’ 2 garlic cloves

β€’ sea salt and freshly ground pepper as needed

Here’s what you do:

Mix together the olive oil and garlic and brush both sides of the bread (Pictured is only two slices, but I had more on the side). I toasted them in a toaster oven for about 5 minutes, until they were nicely toasted and golden brown. Slice tomatoes and arrange on plate with cheese and drizzle everything with some olive oil and S&P.

Enjoy!
